As part of the Fairfield County School District, we are committed to providing a nurturing environment where students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed—both in the classroom and in life.
Our partnership with Communities In Schools of South Carolina (CISSC) plays a pivotal role in this mission. By embedding a full-time site coordinator within our school, CISSC helps connect students and their families to essential community resources and support services. This collaboration ensures that barriers to learning—such as hunger, housing instability, or lack of access to healthcare—are addressed, allowing our scholars to focus on their education and personal development.
Our Site Coordinator, Mr. Reginald Smiley, serves as a front-line ally, helping identify needs, forge strong connections, and implement solutions that promote both student and school-wide success. Mr. Smiley collaborates with our school staff and Fairfield community partners to bring resources directly where they’re most needed – for students, families, and the school as a whole leading an annual free Food
Together with our community partners, Fairfield Elementary School remains dedicated to empowering every student to thrive as a confident learner and leader.
