At Fairfield Elementary School, we are dedicated to nurturing the academic, emotional, and social growth of every child. Our Guidance Department, led by Mrs. Linda Pettway-Moton, provides a supportive environment where students can develop essential life skills, build character, and prepare for future success.

Our Mission

Our mission is to deliver comprehensive guidance services that empower students to become productive, college- and career-ready citizens. We achieve this through:

• Classroom Guidance Lessons: Topics include Bullying Prevention, Character Education, Life Skills, and Career Development.

• Individual and Group Counseling: Providing support for personal and academic challenges.

• Collaboration with Staff and Parents: Working together to create a positive and inclusive school culture.

We are more than a team—we are a family. We teach from the HEART and do the HEART work! This philosophy will continue to be at the forefront as we foster a caring and respectful learning environment for all students.
